SORRY, THIS PRODUCT IS NOT CURRENTLY AVAILABLE FROM ANY SUPPLIER. Pick loads of okra for pickling, gumbo and other Creole dishes from compact, 3 ft tall plants. Grows well wherever summer nights are warm. After the last frost when the soil has thoroughly warmed, plant seeds in soil enriched with compost. Seedlings can be started indoors in 2 inch peat pots, 4 weeks before transplanting. Use plastic mulch in cool climates to retain heat in the soil. If your soil is not fertile, fertilise monthly beside each plant. Water regularly. Pick when pods are 2-3 inches long. Use a knife to cut pods with caps attached.
