Woodland soil and exposure. Easy and reliable. Excellent foliage plant. Reaches one to two feet. Blooms in May with white, fuzzy, dome shaped blooms. In August it has berries that are white with a dark brown or black 'eye'. Foliage is airy, open and leaflets are sharply toothed. The individual 'eyes' are on short stalks so, to me, they more closely resemble 'crab eyes'. Perhaps if I were another crab they could be 'Doll's Eyes'.
