Also known as Licorice Mint, Sunset Hyssop is a Southwestern U.S. native. Hummingbirds, butterflies and bees flock to its nectar-filled bright orange and lavender flower spikes. An explosion of colour, reminiscent of the evening sunset, yet looks light and airy with its fine leaves. The greenish-gray foliage and blooms exude a pleasant rootbeer scent that reminds some of licorice or mint when touched. Leaves make a refreshing tea. Very drought tolerant when established. Full sun to part shade. Height 24-36 in.
