<p>The wild bright primrose form was first introduced in 1597 and was quickly hybridised into a full colour range during the 17th century. The large single flowers vary from yellow to deep mauve and appear above fig-shaped leaves with a distinct toothed appearance. Some resistance to rust. Clumps well, a good border plant which grows to 6 feet tall.</p>
