<p>A pale brown skinned early ripening pickling variety widely used by professional growers. The small solid bulbs have high dry matter content, store very well and do not go soft when pickled in vinegar. Also useful in stir fry dishes and barbeques.</p><p>Sow March - early July.</p><p>The rather curious name is an anomaly - a trial number which became registered as the name.</p>
