<p>A vigorous, hardy variety, ideal for pulling as mini leeks, with an erect habit and long tender white stems. The first thinnings when the size of a pencil can be used instead of spring onions. Harvest mini-leeks when shanks reach half-inch (1.5cm) in diamter, July to December. Mature plants can be overwintered, and harvested from October to April.</p>
