This is an early variety that produces small tender fruit about 95 days after sowing. It is a trailing plant and a very vigorous grower. The rind of this tender fruit is green in colour with small hairs and dark green marks. Start seed indoors about 8 weeks before planting in the garden. Great for making soup, salad or a stir fry. There are even recipes for using wintermelon to make ice-cream!
