Bright green, smooth curds of exceptional quality makes this a formidable vareity which, in our trials, is considered to have a better taste than white varieties. Steam or microwave rather than boil, as this will preserve the taste, colour and nutritional value. Sow this variety May to early June outdoors in prepared seedbeds. Earlier sowing may result in bracted curds.
