<p>Dark green compact heads for use in April and early May; and also in autumn. Well known and reliable variety, over 100 years old! May be used very successfully for spring greens if picked young before the heads form. </p><p>Sow late July to early August. May also be sown March-May for use in autumn (approx 36 weeks to maturity).</p>
