<p>Grown for the asparagus like spring shoot, there is a reason the Europeans love Broccoli Raab - it's a connoisseur's delight! The tender stems, buds and flowers have a wonderfully delicate, slightly bitter/spicy/peppery broccoli flavour which can be enjoyed in salads, stir-fried or steamed. Budding shoots should be harvested jut before the flowers open for best flavour. After cutting, smaller shoots will appear, keep cutting until they get too small.</p><p></p><p>Known in Italy as Broccolo asparago or asparagus broccoli.</p>
