British breeding, a cross between the Kale and Brussels Sprout species producing 'rosettes' of loose, frilly edged buttons on a long stalk, in purples, greens and bicoloured leaves. Flavour is as tasty as spring greens and not like sprouts. Nutritious and winter hardy. Ideal steamed, microwaved or in stir-fries.
