<p>(Family Loganiaceae) This open shrub is deciduous or semi-evergreen. It has dense rounded clusters of dark yellow flowers which contrast nicely with the dark green foliage. It flowers in early summer.</p><p>Buddleias require full sun and fertile, well-drained soil, and are quite hardy. They may be pruned lightly after flowering (they may bloom again in a mild climate), or cut back quite hard late in autumn or early spring to keep to a desired size. Propagate by semi-ripe cuttings in the summer.</p>
