<p>Bushy, short-lived perennial or annual with yellow stems and stem-clasping, oval-rounded leaves. In summer it bears 3cm umbels of chartreuse (greenish-yellow) bracts surrounding tiny star-shaped chartreuse flowers. Looks great in flower arrangements. The uniform plants grow to 80cm (30in) tall.</p><p>Sow indoors in a warm area, 3-4 weeks before the last frost. Seed germinates in 2-3 weeks. Harden off before transplanting outside, 25cm apart or in pots. It takes sixteen weeks to bloom.</p><p>Native to Central and Southern Europe and Central Asia.</p>
