Small, single 7.5cm (3in) diameter and 5cm (2in) deep, brightly coloured fruits are produced on trailing plants. Simply slice off the top, scoop out the seeds, replace the top and microwave for 4 minutes to enjoy its delicious sweet flavour. Can also be baked or stuffed. Ideal for one meal! Stores well at 10C for use throughout the winter. Sow April to May. Harvest September to October, before frosts.
