<p>Vigorous perennial plants grow to 1.5m (5 feet) height, mature deep green buds have a slightly purple tinge and are cut when 5-10cm (2-4 inches) in diameter. After first harvest, cut back stalks to 15cm (6 inches) to encourage a second crop.</p><p></p><p></p>
