<p>A superb border, patio or conservatory plant with a robust, branching habit and many marvellous, double frilled blooms in rich lilac-mauve. Needs to be frost-free over winter, however, it is easy to grow and flowers from summer to frost. A half-hardy shrub, it can be kept from year to year if moved indoors during the winter, like a fuschia or pelargonium. Height 5 ft (1.5m).</p>
