The carrot to overwinter! Eskimo has a high cold tolerance and is also easy to grow with an excellent flavour. Lift roots for storage in September/October or leave in well-drained soil until February or March.

Grows well in an open position on light righ soil which has not been recently manured. Carrot fly is attracted by thinning, so try to avoid thinning at all. If plants are overcrowded, carefully pull alternate roots when small and use whole.
