<p>Tall spires of familiar flowers, this variety has more colours than the wild form: soft red, rosy purple, pink and cream shades are darker also. It likes rich soils in part to full shade, and will grow over 1m (3 ft). Start indoors or directly in the garden when the soil is warm.</p><p>Start seeds in a nursery bed and move to a permanent spot at the back of the border and let them naturalize happily. Resow in a few years if the colours start to fade. Approx. 7000 seeds/g.</p><p>Digitalis is Latin for the finger of a glove, and refers to the shape of the flower.</p>
