<p>The spotted types were available as early as 1850, but reputedly, the finest strain was that sold by 'The Queens Seedsmen' Webbs of Wordsley as illustrated in 1886. Classic shades of white through pink to purple all with conspicuous dark spots in the throat of each flower. Height 5 feet, this is a hardy biennial flowering the second year.</p>
