<p>Barnesii is a slender, stiffly erect fern with toothed margins. Grows to three feet tall with fronds only four inches wide. Quite lovely and distinctive in the shade garden. Very nice mature plants. Has a ruffeled appearance with shaggy brown scales contrasting the green of the fronds.</p>
