Runway has the attractive deeply serrated leaves of wild rocket and its own distinctive, excellent flavour which is tangy and peppery but not bitter. Fast and vigorous growing, it is late to bolt, producing numerous leaves and can be sown close for baby leaf or harvested as mature plants.
