<p>Pips are three years old, but remain small. They are naturally small pips even when mature. These are among the earliest bloomers in spring. Give all species of this lily well drained, leaf mold enriched soil. When planting place a small flat stone under the pip to keep it from going any deeper each year until it no longer blooms. Albidum has white reflexed petals with yellow stamens. Foliage is heavily mottled.</p>
