<p>Dusty pink flowers form in fluffy clusters and open in August to attract butterflies. This shrubby perennial blooms in the first year if sown early and will get 200cm (6.5 ft) tall in well-drained soils.</p><p>Plant 90cm (3 ft) apart to form a thicket. Leaves are pointed and sweet smelling. Hardy to Zone 3. Approx. 2400 seeds /g.</p><p>Native to the Eastern US, it was used by Native Americans to produce red dye and to break fevers.</p>
