<p>Vanilla-scented leaves and little white flowers form a low, spreading mat that will cover paths or moist areas under trees.</p><p>Grows best in part shade, especially woodland conditions. It will tolerate a fair bit of sun. It thrives in well-drained soil. Propagate by division in early spring or autumn.</p>
