<p>Twelve to twenty-four inch plant preferring lots of leaf mold in the soil for moisture. The blooms are a beautiful shade of blue, resembling the old fashioned Christmas tree light bulbs, since they do not open. Blooms in October into November, occasionally well into December. Blooms take hard frosts.</p>
