<p>Star shaped yellow flowers and deep green trefoiled leaves. Roots have odour of cloves and were used to repel moths and also chewed for gum problems. The herb is a fine tonic and was used as a pot herb in the 16th century, added to soups and for flavouring ale. Habitat: woodland and shade. Ht 45cm. Native to UK.</p>
