<p>(Family Bignoniaceae) These attractive perennials are suitable for rock gardens and borders and they form small clumps. They flower in late spring or summer with flamboyant, funnel-shaped blossoms, and have pinnate foliage. It grows easily, but is still an uncommon plant.</p><p>They are frost hardy when the crowns are protected through the winter. Plant them in sun, with fertile but well-drained soil. Add lots of humous before planting. Propagate by seed in autumn or spring. Note that seedlings may take 2-4 years before they flower.</p>
