<p>A deciduous or semi-evergreen twining climber, this plant is usually grown as an annual. It has 3 lobed leaves, and one-sided racemes of small tubular flowers. They are dark red, then fade to orange and finally yellow, and it flowers freely in the summer. Can grow to 15’ (5m) long.</p><p>Plant in full sun in rich, well-drained soil that should be a little damp. Propagate by seed in spring. Moderately frost hardy.</p>
