<p>Called the plum Iris due to the scented blossoms. Foliage is deep green and narrow resembling grass more than Iris. Blooms are midway up the foliage in a circle around the outside of the clump. Blooms in lavender and red-violet resembling an oil slick on water struck by sunlight.</p>
