<p>A most attractive plant to add colour to the salad bowl. Crisp and delicious, the leaves are frilled and tinged with red. Pretty enough to include in the flower border.</p><p>Sow little and often to ensure a continuous supply. Grow in a rich soil and water well in dry periods. Sow outdoors at fortnightly intervals (every two weeks).</p>
