A greenhouse perennial which is a perfect example of nature's adaptability. Neat little plants that look for all the world like stones. They are succulents, easy to grow and create a great deal of interest. They like good ventilation and lots of light but not direct sunshine. In the winter the plants 'hibernate', the old leaves dry up and new ones develop inside and emerge in late spring.

These plants should be grown as house plants in full sun in quick draining, porous soil. During their growth period, these plants should be watered thoroughly on sunny days and allowed to dry out inbetween waterings. They require a 4 month winter rest period where they receive no water. During this time, they can if necessary, withstand temperatures well below freezing if very dry.
