<p>Tall, spreading perennial that naturalizes easily in moist locations. Long, thick spikes in a variety of colours make good cut flowers. Blooms May-June. Direct-seed April-July in sun or light shade in acid soil.</p><p>Sow 6mm (1/4 in.) deep. To speed germination, freeze the seed for 2 days, then keep moist in a paper towel for 1 day. Germinates at 15-18C (60-65F) in 20-30 days. Height 90-120cm (3-4 ft.). Approx. 35 seeds/g.</p>
