The perfect plant to brighten up a damp, shady corner, though it will grow in sunny spots too. In Victorian times, they were scented, but around the 1900's the scent disappeared. Mimulus comes from the Latin 'mimus', a mimic, as the flowers look like monkey's faces. Sow Feb-Jun; flowers Jun-Sep. Height 50cm (20in).
