<p>Also called 'Filet' or 'Fine' beans, Safari produces straight, very slender round dark green stringless pods about 11-12cm (4-5 inches) in length.</p><p>Plants produce plenty of distinctively flavoured, stringless pods over a long period if picked regularly. Delicious when no thicker than a pencil, and can be sliced or cooked whole. Sow March - April under glass, or in succession outdoors from late April until mid-July.</p><p>Requires only a brief cooking time, and are best steamed and served whole, perhaps with a sprinkling of fresh dill or a little butter or sour cream as a sauce.</p>
