<p>(Family Labiatae) This shrub is evergreen and bears pale lilac hooded flowers in dense whorls through the summer. It grows to 24in (60cm) high and spreads 18in (45cm) wide in an upright habit. The leaves are narrow and oval, mid-green with white, wooly undersides.</p><p>It prefers full sun and well-drained soil. Propagate by seed in autumn, or softwood cuttings in summer.</p>
