<p>Woodland soil. That is well drained and average. Mature plants reach one to just under two feet in excellent soil. Erect green spathe with extended green spandix. Foliage resembles our Green Dragon. Blooms all summer. Clump forming plant originating from Japan. Perfectly hardy here, it has survived -31 degrees in my garden. Keep well drained in winter.</p>
