<p>Orange-scarlet flowers are produced throughout the summer followed by spherical, yellow-brown edible fruit. Attractive, shiny dark green foliage. A fine plant for the house, conservatory or greenhouse. Height 30-45cm (12-18in).</p><p>From the Meditterranean. Cultivated since ancient times, in the bronze age the plant was grown for its refreshing pulp derived from its fruit. Even today the pulp and seeds are fermented for use in the alcoholic cordial Grenadine.</p>
