<p>The origins of the Radish are somewhat obscure though it is thought to be derived from southern Europe and Asia. The German Salad Radish is an attractive rosy red in colour and very tasty. The roots are ideal for salads, being long and tapering and the variety is very versatile in that it may be grown both in a greenhouse for early crops or outdoors for maincrop.</p>
