Beautiful, crisp heirloom with mild flavour. White-necked Japanese variety. Shredded daikon radishes are a frequent addition to sushi but their light, crunchy, slightly spicy flavour is a unique addition to many other dishes such as winter salads or stir-fry. As an Asian winter radish, it is best planted in late summer or early fall.
