Unusual, attractive and very versatile, Schizanthus is increasingly being grown as a summer bedding plant. Owners of smaller greenhouses in particular will welcome this mixture of dwarf schizanthus. Compact plants bear masses of orchid-like blooms, becoming pyramids of colour. An outstanding pot-plant for early summer.

Can also be grown as a hardy annual. Sow direct outside in April/May, or in gentle heat in March-May. Alternatively, grow as a spring-flowering pot plant by sowing in an unheated greenhouse August-September.
