The big plant is not susceptible to late blight and goes on producing all summer. Will store up to 3 months in their husks. Approx.900 seeds/g.</p><p>Ground cherries or cape gooseberries are big sprawling plants with somewhat fuzzy leaves. The fruit ripen from green to yellow-gold and drop to the ground in their husks when they are ripe. Eat fresh or use in desserts, sweet sauces, preserves, fruit toppings, pies and salads. Takes up to 3 weeks to germinate so be patient. Grow and harvest like tomatillos.</p>
