A fingerling potato (long and thin) with reddish-tan skin and yellow flesh. High yielding morsels, 1-5 inches long. Very tasty boiled, as home fries and, of course, in potato salads where they are supreme. Try them in your garden this year.

Very late maturing specialty variety - don't look for tubers until September. Whole seed can be chitted (green sprouted) prior to planting if required. Potatoes are heavy feeders. Do not be afraid to fertilise at the rate of 4lbs per 25 feet of row with 7-7-7. Plant very shallow to encourage fast emergence - this is especially important in cool wet springs.
Must be kept growing late for maximum growth and yield. These varieties are very close to wild potatoes, not having had the benefit of years of selection as do most other types; therefore, do not expect results similar to conventional varieties. Plant early, and watch for blight conditions (extended wet periods) and use fungicides.
SHIPPING DATES: April 11th & 25th, 2000. Please place your orders before March 01/00 if possible since some varieites are in short supply.
