<p>The evergreen glossy foliage greatly enhances this twiner. From early summer through to early autumn, clusters of heavenly blue flowers will appear, giving a sumptuous contrast. Suitable outdoors in sheltered areas and enjoying dappled shade, Sollya is ideal in that awkward corner which was previously unplantable. Indeed, you could twine Sollya through evergreen conifers for a subtle effect. In the autumn, the plant will often produce blue berries, which are edible.</p> <p>An interesting plant from the Pittosporum family, Sollya heterophylla is one of three species in the genus. Naturally foundi n areas of light woodland in Australia, Sollya honours the name of Richard Horsman Solly, a botanist who died in 1858.</p> <p>Height 60-80 inches (1.5-2 m).
