<p>A very special, two-tone blend featuring flowers in creamy-white and in sky-blue. Stokesias are excellent, robust, herbaceous border plants which are also great as a cut flower. Low growing, it is ideal for the front part of the border. It is reliable and relatively pest and disease free and also often long living.</p> <p>From the Compositae family, the Stoke’s Aster can be found on the wild plains from South Carolina to Louisiana. The name honours Jonathan Stokes, an English physician who died in 1831. Stokesias are graceful and the species name echoes this as ‘laevis’ means smooth.</p> <p>Height 18-24 inches (45-60 cm). Hardy in the UK, Europe, Japan, Australia and North America USDA Zones 5-8.</p>
