<p>(Family Ranunculaceae) (T. rocquebrunianum) A clump-forming perennial that gets 2.5-3ft tall. It has green leaves and large, well-branched flowerheads of pale purple flowers on top of tall purple-tinted stalks. It flowers from mid to late summer; they are composed of tufts of stamens and 4 or 5 sepals but no true petals. This plant looks really nice growing in meadows, natural gardens or woodland edges.</p><p>It is fully hardy and grows in any well-drained soil. It likes sun or light shade. Propagate with fresh seed in autumn, or by division in spring.</p><p>This Thalictrum is native to Japan.</p>
